Don't worry, I've just staggered home. Am back on Stella Cidre now Get some real ale down ya, not that poncy southern appleade!
Oh, Jerimiah Weed isn't appleade either! It's ginger beer. Combined with Old J rum (best rum ever) it managed to get me sufficiently psised

Get some secret training in with these guys. http://www.superbikeschool.co.uk/
I spent one of the best long weekends of my life at Jerez being coached. BTW be careful on which company you choose to go with on a trackday as they are a tt magnet. No limits are one of the better companies out there as they have a low tolerance for idiots and don't cram the track with riders leaving plenty of room.
I had a look at California Superbike School but I've been told I won't get much benefit out of it until you're at least mildly competent on a track. I'm definitely going to do something like that, but to start with I'll just be taking training off my friends and the instructors on the trackdays. I believe they usually go with Focuses Events, and on the ones where I've mechaniced for them they have been very good. I spent one of the best long weekends of my life at Jerez being coached. My mate who I will be going with has just bought one of the Team Italia Ducati Panigales (will take delivery at the end of the season) from World Superstock 1000 and is racing next year. I'm mechanicing, so I want to try and get to a decent-ish standard by then.

They're not white boots (inc. dark thingies). They're black boots with white detailing, and florescent yellow thingies (and a red bit on the top that I can't change )
All this blingy gear is gonna make you look really quick Georgie boyOne of the fastest riders I ever came across on the roads, was some old fella on a BMW twin..... He was wearing wellies, a pisspot helmet and a belstaff....
I was on my ZZR, and couldn't get near him in the corners. Then again the sparks off his decked out cylinder heads was a tad off putting

The fastest guy at Cadwell on the last track day I attended (as a mechanic not as a rider ) was a guy on a Honda CB500 with unbelievably scuffed leathers. It was raining and he was riding past R1s/Fireblades etc etc. Was great to watch. One of the fastest riders I ever came across on the roads, was some old fella on a BMW twin..... I later found out he's a rider in Thundersport GB Naked Series.
I don't care if I look a knob (undoubtedly I will), I just want the stuff that I'm happy with

Don't put yourself down George...... I'm sure you don't need all that gear to look a knobI must admit though, I have a feeling you haven't thought this biking thing through...... You do know that a crash helmet's going to mess your hair up don't you

Good point, I can make myself look a knob just by opening my mouth I must admit though, I have a feeling you haven't thought this biking thing through...... You do know that a crash helmet's going to mess your hair up don't you
I'm definitely going to love biking! I can use my Rossi helmet instead of my Rossi hat to stop my hair being messed up

I was hitherto contemplating whether I should just text you at 5.00am from the Airport Lounge tomorrow or make it a full blown call to wake your sorry hungover torso up !!
That's settled it now
You could do that on any Sunday morning to be honest! That's settled it now
But be warned... the consequences will be dire

Do you have to put your foot in the inner boot, do it up then put that into the outer boot? Mine do up at the back on both the inner and outer boot, so can do it in one step (no pun intended)
a bit of a pain to put on but so comfy Got a KTM Duke 690 to take out on a test when I pass my test. Desperately want one of them for the road, looks great fun!
