Yes, but it was supplied LHD..according to a very reputable AM source of that type of information
Random fact: generally speaking, in Japan having a fancy car is considered cool. Having a LHD fancy car is over-the-scale cool, way more exotic. So often, cool cars are LHD there.EVR said:

Random fact: generally speaking, in Japan having a fancy car is considered cool. Having a LHD fancy car is over-the-scale cool, way more exotic. So often, cool cars are LHD there.I’m currently searching for my first Aston Martin, which will be a 2008-2009 Vantage Roadster with a manual gearbox.
I’d happily accept a car in various shades of silver, but I really dislike black! It hides the lines of the car and is difficult to keep clean. However you try finding a manual roadster in silver at the moment ... There’s one available and it looks a bit sad!
On the other hand, there are plenty of black cars to choose from! I’m thinking of potentially going down this route (to get the best spec/choice) and then wrapping the car.
I believe this is called Satin Concours Blue and apparently it’s now an AM colour ... ? I think it looks fantastic and I reckon it would suit the roadster!

Very nice - is it Cayucos Orange?

As the OP hasn't responded I will answer that for you Graham. The colour is called Montana Orange, it was originally a Carbon Black car and repainted by the factory in this colour fairly early on in it's life. Quite a well known car on the forum.Graham
More info here https://agilitypr.news/Famous-One-off-Montana-Oran...
However I do believe that Montana Orange is indeed the same colour as Cayucos Orange. When I was shortlisting my final 3 colour choices for my V12VSM, I requested the paint mould for Montana Orange and was told by the factory that the colour was now called Cayucos Orange, so was sent that instead. Of course there was a GT12 in this colour too, which is still up for sale, however this was built only a short time after this car was repainted in Montana, so if true the name change must have happened very shortly after this car was painted.
Hi. Thanks for the lovely comments about the car.
Yes, it is the Montana Orange car that the previous poster described and, so far as I have been able to work out, the history described in the article that was linked is correct i.e. it was intended to be a Carbon Black car but before it was assembled in the factory the bodywork was changed and, I believe, it makes it unique as the only AM in that colour and the only V12V with all the Carbon Black extras that is not Carbon Black in colour.
I've owned it for six months and have enjoyed every minute. I now face the predicament as to how much to drive it and how much to just look at it, which I think is a comment dilema!
So, if you ever see an orange Vantage around the South West, you have a bit of background.
