My V8V randomly beeps at me. Took me ages to work out what it was, turns out its a speed camera warning. Well, it certainly happens every time I get near a fixed camera. Weird thing is, nowhere can I find it in any manual, and it'd be an odd thing to get aftermarket.
Mark - are you talking about your sat nav ???

If so, the speed camera function only works if you have a route planned. A possible remedy for this is to delete the route that you last planned so that it knows you have arrived ??????

Apologies if I am misreading this smile
No, you're spot on chum. I'll check it tomorrow, as I understand it is still active despite not being selected on ie up and that the routes stay in. I'll get deleting tomorrow pal, thank you so much as this has been driving me mad! thumbup

Why would you want to disable it?! Sounds brilliant.
I get what you mean G, but I drive on the same routes (generally) and sitting on the M6 in roadworks with it going bananas gets on my titis. I will of course need it in Wales, so will reactivate it if possible. Well done on evading speeding ticket, lucky boy!

My last one
Numerous TPMS warnings which randomly appeared and randomly went away
Suddenly adjusted the drivers seat to Jockmans position and refused to move making it impossible for anyone else to drive
Boot suddenly opened on an open ferry and the button refused to work after that

Current one
Satnav doesn't think Wales is in the UK rolleyes

That's because it isn't. Never understood why they only charge you to get in, I'd be far happier to pay double......no wait, treble to get out!

06 plate 4.3 V8V...
Engine would cut out when driving along at speed. So a death trap...

Resolved by AML replacing the fuel tank and fuel tank breather sub-system. Caused by a design fault that was resolved on later 4.3 and 4.7 V8.

Read this thread yesterday morning with nothing much to contribute other than a dig at the welsh. Took the vantage out for a spin, arrived at the Hatfield Tunnel hoping to experiences BR's work in all it's glory and the passenger window wouldn't drop. Bloody typical!

Still, popped in to say Hi to Martin at Grange (top bloke by the way) as they're near by and its going in next Saturday to be sorted. Another excuse to use the tunnel woohoo

It's in the FAQ above.....just looked at it and it requires you to be able to lower the window which you patently cannot do.

Probably a duff Door Window Module frown

Oh, and the handbrake really does like to pretend its on and warn me on the dash, when it definitely isn't.
Yup, mine does this too! With annoying bloody bong noise and warnings telling me I'm an idiot for driving with the handbrake on. When it isn't.

Ah, strange, same thing happened to me on Sunday - tracker had just been replaced, so I wondered if that was related.

Other faults I've had: (mostly TADTS)

Petrol filler cover stuck
Brake lights stuck on (really on, even when car locked)
Random tyre pressure sensor light
Emissions warning
Mirrors not folding reliably
Tracker not working

Those were all fixed under warranty, which has now expired I think...
