Warning light on the car .... Help

Funnily enough ours popped the emissions warning up a number of weeks ago.
No amount of restarts or driving cleared it.

I was going to pop into Works Service this morning as I was up that way. Anyhow, turned the key first thing today and it had cleared itself.
So that answer is to drive near to a service centre and the fault light goes away!
