Been looking into this for the DB9.
The fact that Bamford offer this service without a brand new wheel means it just a case of getting the button and wiring it in.
From what I can see you just need to send 3 wires into the Rotary coupler
you are correct for cars that dont have the link harness missing, just dont forget do what you like to wiring, the re-prog of car config to cruise is the hurdle to doing this job at homeThe fact that Bamford offer this service without a brand new wheel means it just a case of getting the button and wiring it in.

Does anyone have a guide on removing the steering wheel without blowing your face off with the airbag? My alcantara has less fluff than Sukh's head so I'd like to re-cover it over the winter
Thinking of doing a couple of other areas too
Would be helpful to me too as I'm looking at getting mine covered in Alcantara. Thinking of doing a couple of other areas too
Thinking of using Royal steering wheels - any good?

The part number is 8428021, it is called “MTE 2.54 receptacle latch 4 way”
There are 5 in one packet and they cost approx £13 including delivery for the 5, you only need 1
I was having difficulty finding the plugs, Aston Martin do not sell the wiring loom in the steering wheel and will only sell a new wheel complete with the cruise switch and new loom at almost £1000.
I tried to solder wires onto the pins of the switch but the heat desolders the pins from the printed circuit board and you cannot get in to resolve so it cost n
Me a new switch at approx £90
Hope you find this helpful
