Here's a picture from our tour to Riems a couple of years ago, as you can see it includes many modern Astons. Welcome to the club, I'm sure you'll really enjoy yourself. smile

Well the starting point is to sort out the website. It's a mess and reflects an organisation that is 'off line'.

I can join, but I can't renew online, I can't update my details, I can't do anything much. I can 'get the app' on my iPad but that gives me a hotels app, what's that about?

I've got pictures with no Astons, a jaguar and a fiat and other non Aston stuff, it just basically says that if you live in 2013 the club doesn't want to know. The closest thing to anything useful is the forum but that's a pretty archaic thing, technology wise.

If you live off line in a world of social events and history the club is fine, I go to events and I get value from my membership, but equally it's all rooted I the past and not the present.
I sent a query to the membership contact early last week, haven't heard anything yet. My question is do you pay the full amount for membership even though you are joining mid way through the year. I see that my membership would still end in December?

Thanks

Gerry

Gerry, I suggest you simply call the club office to get the answer 01865 400400. I'm sure they'll sort it out. I recollect that I joined towards the end of a year and paid a pro-rata amount.
