PH are pretty aggressive in shutting down advertising threads - I'm not sure I like the policy myself, but I guess they have their reasons.

I don't think the meet is the problem Tony. I know James didn't start the thread so it was not a blatant attempt at advertising, but once it became clear earlier in the thread that this is a tuition session for which a charge is made I guess the mods have deemed it a commercial thread.

Probably best to take it to private email and speak to James directly if people are interested in the tuition. That way it won't incur the wrath of the GMods

It's common on most forums now.
Haymarket own PH now and they are after all a commercial venture.

Indeed they do and I understand from a chap who works there it is their most profitable site as well.
