Thinking about buying this V8 Vantage....?

Andy, you will easily get £30k for yours and I am not talking about going down the private route, you just need to know where to go.
Most dealers I went to offered £23k for mine as that is what the trade books say it is worth (which means they are lazy or greedy or both!). There are some dealers out there however that are realistic and don't take the pi55 by bidding £23k on a car that they will be putting up for at least £35k.
I tried to email you but you have that function switched off.
Cheers
Gerry

Cheers Gerry....
Yes.... I have a good idea of its real value, hence not taking it any further... the dealer was either being very silly, or he wasn't interested in a trade..... Who knows??
It's going for service tomorrow... So I suspect I'll be hanging on for a while yet....... Also there are so few cars out there that actually appeal, in terms of colour, spec and price, but no hardship, I shall continue to enjoy my Aston in the meantime
I'm a patient man..... I waited 48 years for my first one

Trinity engineering would be a good start.
+1 - only ever had great service there, Tim and team know their stuff and the classic stuff they usually have floating around... ETA - seat belt should be covered as it's a primary safety device, wing mirrors need some light oil - simple, fuse - pop down to halfords - also simple. The rest someone like Mikey will know the deal with warranty Enjoy!

I'm always amazed by figures like that. That is equivalent to a 6-10% fee on a car worth £30-50k. If you are selling a house, the house will have to be worth over £300k to rack up the same sort of agency fees (at 1%!)
Not really comparing like for like though is it, dealers have their stock, plate glass show room, servicing area, sales people etc while an estate agent has an office and the staff with no stock whatsoever.Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
