Darling Ed, you seem to have interpreted my post differently to others 
My meaning is that this forum will continue regardless of input from you or I and that our impact on it will only ever be momentary. But this also applies to the naysayers !!!
Focus in on the hundreds of good ones on here - of which you are most certainly one - and don't allow yourself to be overly influenced by negativity.

Short you might be, yet, as I do, you see the bigger picture, puts things in perspective.
Hope to get Vesuvius back from BR this week, all done and dusted, so Ed, we'll need to organise a nice dry day for that photo shoot and a mini group hug.

Its all Jekyll and Hyde to me,I couldn't give a toss at the end of the day..... all I was doing is what many people clearly thought by trying to stop a downward trend.
Its a forum,people can say or do what they want,but to be fare you must admit there's been far to many skirmishes of late,I'm not trying to change anything,all
I was trying to say was "look guys think about what your doing" eventually in these situations some one gets hurt in the mental plain.
This isn't a war zone merely a game but even at play people can get hurt,my thoughts were aimed at minimising potential causalities,thats all.
I have a strong grip on life trust me on that and I realise only to well it's frailties, therefore I find it better to laugh and enjoy while you can,rather than upset
people and argue where you need not.
I certainly haven't thrown the toys out of the pram I was merely trying to tidy it.
Theres lots of good Dr Jekyll's on here but occasionally Mr Hyde comes out,runs around and frightens people off........just my mind boggling spin on things.

...(btw, Ed's spot on. This place has turned from a haven from snobbery and the dick head type attitudes and behaviours often, unfortunately, attributed to owners of "prestige" cars, to an example that underscores that view.
As Jockers notes - have you really sold the DB9? - the world will continue to turn. Doesn't stop it being a sad state of affairs though. Parallels with the marque in some ways perhaps...a bright corner of the market starts to lose its way perhaps).
