V8 tyre pressure fault

I've just had my rear tyres changed by a local tyre company but I have a tyre pressure fault showing on the dashboard. Does anyone know how I reset the tyre pressure monitoring system ?

Did they change the tire pressure valves/sensors or just throw them away? Check the handbook to make sure you've got the right sensors on the right wheels as well.

I don't think there is a reset. When mine first came on (after the first cold night of winter) I just pumped them up a bit (they were a bit low to what they were supposed to be) and as soon as I drove off, after 30 seconds or so, it went away.

I recently got the two rear tyres replaced on my V8VR.
The guy at the tyre shop said to me there was a procedure to follow when replacing wheels/tyres fitted with TPMS.
I do not know what the procedure is, but in my case even when I got back into the car after the tyres being fitted there were no warnings on the dash.
I had assumed that I would have to drive the car for the sensors to reset.

I do recall at the time the tyre fitter blowing up the new tyres very slowly.

Have you got new valves? the sensors are fitted to the bottom of the valve, so if you have new valves they probably binned them? No sensor = tyre warning light.

If you still have the original valves, did they knock them? they are very fragile. There is no reset but they can be adjusted for sensitivity with the tyre off.

So it would help if I read the manual... Leave it running for 20 mins before driving off and it auto resets. Sorted
