or check this. would this be the job: http://www.google.ie/url?sa=i&source=images&am...
Yeti is right, although 20" wheels fit nicely on a vantage, the sheer width of DBS 20" wheels is probably too much IMO. They slightly protrude from the rear arches. Kinda reminds me of the VW polo boy racers with hugely wide wheels!
But 20" wheels with the correct width look very nice.
Ask Burtnout (or at least look at his).
Bear in mind though a few things;
It will lowering (as the arch gap will remain)
It will need a proper geo set up
The standard brake discs suddenly look very tiny.
I sold a set of spamming new DBS wheels for a total of £2500 last year.
They weren't so great on my vantage.

Almost certainly yes if you add 20" wheels it'll need lowering. The extra height makes it look a bit odd.
They will go straight on the hubs with no issues and original tyres. Although some people prefer lower profile tyres.
Pretty much anything you do with adjusting wheel size/lowering should require a geometry set up. Otherwise many things could be affected like speedo reading, tyre wear due to change in centre of gravity etc.
If you haven't already, google image search as many pics of Vantage with DBS wheels as you can. Most of what you'll see is with lowered suspension. And you'll also see how my h they stick out at the rear.
Burntout has 20" wheels with perfect width for the arches. And it's lowered just right.

Eoin, at the absolute minimum you'll require a geometry check, but this is about 100 quid and is always money well spent. Unless your car has had it done, it is probably out anyway.
The set with the tyres look a good price, as Steve says they bolt straight on to your hubs. The rolling radius is within a few % of what you have now so speedo would not need to be recalibrated and gearng stays the same.
I went from 19" to 20" DBS wheels on my DB9 and am pleased with the look, although they are on the limit of acceptability size-wise! They were designed to go with the bodywork of the DBS and they look it. IMHO the Vantage short wheelbase doesn't always suit them, they look too tall, but it's colour sensitive...
Burntouts wheels are non-Aston but look great; they're perhaps a better option on Vantage.
My Nine with DBS wheels (and bigger brakes)... the sills are not deep enough to carry it off really but I enjoy the extra width/grip.

Nice parking Yeti, or did you leave the handbrake off?The set with the tyres look a good price, as Steve says they bolt straight on to your hubs. The rolling radius is within a few % of what you have now so speedo would not need to be recalibrated and gearng stays the same.

thanks yeti, full of great info. they are a good price, im wondering if i were to buy n400 sills or v12 would that compensate the width? i do love the wheels but dont want them looking wrong.ant other suggestions much appreciated
I think the more aggressive sills would help with the looks of the wheels, yes. The reason I changed to DBS wheels was to have more rubber on the road; my car has bigger, stronger brakes than standard and a bit more power so extra tyre/wheel width really helps me get the most out of the additions.
There is a picture of a (possibly cobalt?) blue V8 Vantage floating around that has those wheels on it...

We had the Millbrook track to ourselves Fair point well made though!
There's a story about me and handbrakes... I have form
