05 db9 volante.

It started with the roof playing up. Sometimes not closing, sometimes stopping half way through the cycle. Then the guages zeroing out and the radio staying on when ignition switched on. Drivers window not closing. All happens randomly and, occasionally will clear itself if left for a few hours.

New battery put in and plenty of voltage at all the major points. Ive ordered new door controllers but will that cure it.

Any other ideas? Also how do you perform a full hard reset?

Thanks in anticipation for any tips

There have been a number of posts on here recently about volante / roadster electrical gremlins. It seems to be the roof module on most that cause the issues with ALL of the electrics reporting issues. It seems to be that when the module goes faulty on the CANBUS, it affects other systems reporting spurious issues that do not exist. Have you taken the car to a respected independent or dealer to be plugged in and diagnose the issue; rather than buying new bits in the hope you stumble on the right one?

My understanding is that the unit can be un-plugged and miracles of miracles all the systems start working. Try that first, before buying more units. You will find it in the drivers side rear wheel arch. As I say other posts on here very recently about the same issues.

I have the same symptoms on my 08 year. For yours, the battery reset is a switch behind the driver seat apparently and does not cure the problem. Mine is currently with BR where the roof module is being replaced at £360 plus labour plus VAT.

I'm picking it up on Wednesday when, no doubt, it will be raining!
