Absolutly. When I was at the new Gaydon factory, they said that the last thing each car will have done to it prior to being road tested it to be plugged into the computer which will tell the engine what power to produce. Hence the vanquish has just been reprogrammed.
I wonder how much you would have to pay for them to "up" the power on your new car. I read somewhere that the 6.0 litre V12 will take upto 600 bhp before serious modification. Hence Aston can make as many "stages" as it likes, as soon as sales start to slip...
I also remember seeing that the DB9 produces just over 100 bhp at tickover...
