Can anyone tell me if it is possible to lower my 2005 DB9? and has anyone done this and what was the cost. Any photos please ?
Would a Aston Garage undertake the task ?
Thanks John
Ignore the grown-ups. Would a Aston Garage undertake the task ?
Thanks John
No input on how to do it, but just encouragement to do whatever you want with your car.
You can get some lowering springs and any Aston indy could do it. You would need a geometry check afterwards too
Lots of upgrade parts (inc springs) listed here

One of the things I like about my Vantage compared to Italian sportscars, is that its very usable and practical as a daily driver. I've had really low cars before, and away from a race track the downsides outweigh the upsides
Dropping it 25-40mm and fitting a front splitter, is going to take a lot of that away. You will be struggling with speed bumps, multi-storey car parks ets. So long as you understand that and drive accordingly...or treat the front splitter as a consumable, and replace it at every service

Agree. You have to be ingratiated with the self-appointed glitterati who inhabit this part of PH to get away with modifying your AM. If you're the right person you can stick different wheels, spoilers and odd colour schemes onto your car to the sound of warm and plentiful plaudits. If you're not in that circle then you're just a boy racing chav who has ruined their car and brought shame to the marque. No input on how to do it, but just encouragement to do whatever you want with your car.
But that's only if you care about the opinions of a bunch of fat, bald, middle-aged men on the internet.

You must have the Geo' and corner-weight done afterwards or you will very likely end up with a very odd handling car, any specialist worth his salt would advise anyway. Get a pic of the after look up....
A full GEO was part of the service provided by BR when carrying out project Blofeld.Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
