Buyers please beware, make sure you inspect or get the car professionally and independently inspected when you buy something really shiny (and expensive):

my friend use to own a 2003 black/black Vanquish (UK registered YE03 ***) - he was unfortunate to crash it in France, badly: lost control (gearbox problem: downshifted while he was accelarating he reckons) and ended up hitting the concrete middle barrier, suspension torned, wheel flew in the air, etc. Car ended up flat on its chassis.

When my friend saw it back on sale - he jumped on the phone and called me (pics see below!!!!)

Anyways...it's back on the road and for sale in the UK! Supposely as a "upgraded" Vanquish and tons of cash spent on (wonder why!!!!)

The crash happen on the peripherique in Paris last year - the driver from the car behind who received one of the Vanquish wheel on his roof did end up in the hospital for a couple months (thankfully he has now fully recovered).

My friend claimed the insurance and got his money back - what did the insurance do afterwards I dont know, nor do i think my friend knows. I guess once you get paid, you dont own the car anymore.

If it was insured outside of the UK then it wouldn't show up on an HPI check.
It was UK registered, UK parked and kept and UK registered. Friend was on a business trip in France when that occured.

Good morning,

It's strange because I saw a similar car (same number plate and factory number) crashed 2 years ago, may be a coincidence.
I'm actually look around for a Vanquish then when I will have my mind made up (S or not, the year, etc...) I will arrange viewing.
Best regards
