New to Aston Martin HELP NEEDED

Having owned 996 GT3 Porsche ,then moved on to a Ferrari 360,then moved on to a Ferrari 360 CS which i owned for 3 years ,then once more moved on to a GT3 RS Gen2 Porsche 911 which now i have sold.
I will be buying a Aston but decided on either a Vantage V12 or a Vantage S or a Vantage N420 Manual as i have been told the 6 speed auto box is no so good as in the Vantage S as it is a 7 speed and a quicker change.
And which Aston would hold its money better the V12 ,vantage s or vantage N420 Manual.
So could any Aston Martin Piston headers give me some advice please

Thanks for your information in the end I purchased a late November 2011 Vantage S in Metorite Grey 3,200 miles on the clock
From H R Owens in Cheltenham, after alot of negotiations I got 5 grand of the asking price ,I did try the Vantage V12 which is a great car but I did prefer the auto 7 speed box over the Manual in the V12.
I did try the Vantage N420 both auto and manual cars in this case the manual was better than the 6 speed auto, but after a long thinking time i did think the vantage S was a nicer looking car and the overall driving experiance was better.
Will post some pictures later it is raining hard right now so the car is in my garage.
