I've been informed that the rear brake pads on my V8V are looking somewhat low ( the warning thing you get has not popped up so far ); so, easy question I hope :

Where's the best place to get them from and what sort of cost am I looking at ? ( £200 or so ? )

I popped them in to Google and found some at 15 quid on ebay - erm, no thanks !

Hi Dan

That's fantastic, thanks very much.

I also had a look for the wear sensors, and they only do the fronts, not the rears. But I've managed to find somewhere else online that does them for about £25, so I'll have to order the sensors separately. Still, much cheaper than I was expecting.

If you swap the pads before the light comes on, you won't need to waste money on new sensorssmile
Even better. I was thinking the sensors sort of wore down as well, so I suppose they get to a point that when they wear away, they break so as to indicate it's time to change the pads. So if you dont get that far, they have not broken.

Thanks all - £117 for the bits !
