Roof issues - help needed!
Discussion
Went to try and put the roof down before, and one side of the cover that houses the roof when it's down wouldn't unclamp.
I put the roof back down but is there some sort of manual release I can use? Then try to clean the clamping mechanism to see if that helps.
And yes, I know the car needs a clean before anyone points it out

I had the same problem with the tonneau but thankfully when the roof was uo.
One of your roof motors is fked.
No idea how to get your roof down though. Sorry!
I think it's the clamp rather than the motor. If there is some sort of manual release I can clean the clamp and see if that works. One of your roof motors is fked.

Joking aside, George, it might well be this - my roof stuggles every now and again.
Yours is usually down the whole time, so not so surprising. That is the first time Geoge's has been out of the garage this year, so interesting that it lowered but struggled to erect.
No it wouldn't lower, that was the problem. The back bit wouldn't lift up so it couldn't go down Yours is usually down the whole time, so not so surprising. That is the first time Geoge's has been out of the garage this year, so interesting that it lowered but struggled to erect.
I'll try WD-40 when I get back and bouncing it a bit as per Yeti's advice.
