Time to say Goodbye.

All sold up and moving on to pastures new after 3.5 years. No new car, just using the 2 other cars on my drive as well as my 1992 Kona Cinder Cone push bike smile

Owning the DB9 has been a fantastic experience and one I would recommend to everyone. Kids from Edinburgh council estates simply do not get to possess the most beautiful car in the world nono.........well this one did. And married a beautiful wife just for good measure.

What has heightened the ownership experience for me - without doubt - has been membership of this, the best forum on Pistonheads. Much more of a Community than a Forum yes There are reasons why thousands of people hover over this forum. The friendship, encouragement and advice has been invaluable for someone who knows nothing about cars and isn't even >into< cars !!!

A big Thank You to the organisers of events - Mikey K, Rob & Molly, B4rnstable, Tony Hall - and even the ones I couldn't make - Nick and Seemon. A lot of hard work goes into this type of meeting and I want them to know it is appreciated.

Thanks to Cockernee for letting me drive his boat (faster than I drove my car, it has to be said) and to Nick for taking me to the Fat Duck, where the quality of the company even managed to outshine the food. As for Mr Gould, F1 NDW and Retman - nuff said smile

Thanks to all the technical guys on here for advice from Yeti to Mikey to Bogie to Luna.....best not list people in this area as I know I'll miss somebody out !!

Thanks to the run-out regulars for their companionship. Thanks also to the D&D regulars - Pedro, Nick, Tony, Marcel, Seemon, Steve, Woolders, Neil, Graham, Nicolas, Kris etc - for making me so welcome too.

Apologies to those that I have annoyed over the years with my inane drivel and shameless off-topicism. I just couldn't help myself at times and I realise that there are times when I should perhaps seek medical help biggrin

Great that Ed is back (and organising trips already!!), Bob and Avinalarf are on form and Mr Gould has re-acquired his voice.

I have kept a couple of momentos from the car which I’m storing in a safe place…..next to all the gear I robbed on our runouts whistle
