Need advice please.
Just been quoted £1530 ( list £1836 ) for 7 year service on my 06 DB9 by main dealer where I purchased my car.
Told it is ' big' service so more than the £950 I paid last year.
I live in North London so would consider Chiltern or other recognised garage.
Thanks, Steven

What's your question, Steven? smile
My question is this Jockers ,keep hearing your missus is a good looking woman,so why did she marry you ,no good without pics so let's have one so I can make a judgement.
Other question is to find out what whether the cost is about right as it is more than I expected so I am seeking the advice from my colleagues on this forum. You got a problem with that. smile

it is the big one as it includes plugs.....you don't have to have the plugs done if the millage is less than 60k .....that will knock about £700 off
Thank you Michael.
Mileage is only 16K .
What are the possible consequences of not having the plugs chained ?

Quite correct Mikey.
I even manage to annoy myself with the amount of "off topic " drivel I write. smile

Peter just peeked at your profile.
That car you're sitting in would make a great Xmas present for my old mate Jockers, is it as fast as it looks ? smile

You do have to disassemble the top of the motor to reach them. How long that takes I don't know. But if I was doing it, it'd be a couple of days working on and off at a deliberate pace.
Thanks Steve, they did say they would need the car for 2/3 days.
It's at times like this I curse myself for not having the techy knowledge. frown

Thank you all very much for your input.
It has helped me to have more of an understanding of that which I need to discuss with the garage.
