Condensation in DB9 rear light unit

Hi Everyone!
My DB9 has just developed a bout of condensation in the near side clear rear light unit. Searching through previous posts, it appears that there maybe a fix by removing the unit and drilling a couple of holes and then blowing the condensation out and then re-sealing. I would be very greatful for any advice from anyone who has done this, such as where exactly the holes are drilled, also what size holes? Also is removing the carpet trim to gain access a straight forward procedure?
