As I seemed to have upset a few Aston Martin owners after asking them to pay £7 to come to the Hedingham castle meet, so I thought I would try and make up for it by organising a special meet just for you guys and this time it will be free.

If you have an Aston, please come along as I'm sure you will enjoy the day and you don't even need to bring your wallets thumbup

Date: Sunday 29th August 2010

Location:
Tesco superstore
BRENT CROSS HENDON WAY,
TILLING ROAD,
LONDON,
GREATER LONDON,
NW2 1LZ

Time: Get there for 8:30 so you can get the prime position facing the flyover.

Cost: Totally free, but TESCO only allows you to park there for a maximum of two hours. So you may have to drive to another Tesco Superstore to continue the meet.

Food: As Aston owners are notoriously tight with their money, I'm sure most of you will be bringing along home made sandwiches. Alternatively, there will be plenty of food inside teh store.

Special gift Tesco will be handing out free cans of baked beans to all Aston owners who buy over £5 worth of groceries. Try not to eat them before the journey home, as your passengers might complain about your excessive gas.

I've marked out the parking area below for those that are coming. Fortunatly I won't be able to come along as I'd rather watch paint dry.

Hopefully none of you will compalin this time as it's all free.

Have a nice time. byebye

Seems to me that some Aston owners here like to dish it out but can't take it.

On the upside, if you want to go on a chavy cruise through London, revving your engine to all around just to demonstrate the size of your appendage, it seems he's the guy to arrange it ...... winklaugh
I'm telling you.... the more you rev... the larger it gets!!! Sometimes I even have to remove my seatbelt.biggrin

I thank God he's not an Aston owner! wink
Actually.... I'm thinking of getting a Vanquish.........

Suppose I won't get any tips from owners here. frown

Well, he was spot on. You are trolling.
It was meant as a bit of harmnless fun and I was only giving back all the piss taking they were doing in the other thread. It's a pity some people on here lack any sense of fun.

Another thing... I notice that having failed to convince me to pay you £7.00 to park at your little castle, you have travelled to Goodwood to take a photo of my car, which is now on your website. This scurrilous attempt to make money out of my Aston without my permission is unacceptable. I demand that you recompense me to the tune of only 1p per visitor to your website.

I reckon that you must owe me about 7p. Please send it immediately. If you round it up to 10p, then I will join your fgear forum - and double the membership! How's that for a very generous offer?
laughlaughlaughlaugh

Let me check down the back of the sofa. Might be able to find a few coins.

You won't need a "few" coins. One will do... unless you are too tight to fork out the 10p.

And no, he wont be able to afford to run any Aston, nevermind the Vanquish.
Looks like I'm stuck with the prius!!! weeping

Still, if he wants to know what Aston owners do on their day off, without helping a dhead to make some money, have a look here:

That's very admirable and I don't doubt that many Aston Martin owners are very genourous and decent human beings.

williamp said:
And he still has a problem with us not wanting to give him £7.
Actually, I don't have any problem with Aston owners not paying £7 or even coming to the event. I don't have any financiual interest in the event so it doesn't bother me the slightest. All I was doing was organising an event where some petrolheads could come along and have a fun day.

What was annoying was the attitude that some of you had on the other thread. Out of all he marquees I invited, this section was the only one that complained and took the piss. So I thought I'd post up this thread as a humourous riposte hoping that some of you would take it as the joke that it was. If you dish it out... surely you can take it.

Instead I've been told to f*** off, called a muppet, p**k and a dhead. To be honest, some of you who have posted are cominging across as humourless up your arse arrogant self important ttts who can't take a joke.

Anyway.... off for a cruise in the Prius now. driving
