I want to fix the stone chips on the front of my AMV8. Searching PH I came up with these options and was wondering which of these (if any) you guys have found to be best:

1. http://www.drcolorchip.com/
2. http://www.langka.com/
3. Buy OEM paint and get a professional paintshop to apply it.
4. Get a professional paintshop to mix some paint and apply it.

I am not too good with this sort of thing, which is why I added 3 and 4 (better colour match?).
Mine is nowhere near needing a respray, but I'd like to do this, and fix a few leather scuffs, before things get out of hand!

Thanks in advance for any help!

I read thread this before I went looking for the code, and Retman's advice was brilliant!

Might sound dumb, but how is 3M protective tape related to using the chipex product?

Just ordered mine from Chipex over the phone (as Tungsten Silver was not in the drop down list on the website) and he asked me to stress they can do any colour (regardless of whether or not its on the website).

UPDATE

Just had word from Chipex that only 14 orders have been received against this offer. frown

We did commit to 20 names to get the deal. Chipex have done their part by giving the % so it would be great if we could fulfill ours...

It would be a shame if our credibility suffered because of this and it jeopardised future arrangements either with this - or other businesses - if the word got around that we hadn't done the bis!
I agree - maybe start a new list of 'who has ordered?!' - (I've got mine by the way).

Or, as Retman already said (and I followed this great advice)

"..just had a poke around mine and found same sticker in the compartment containing the sat nav disc in nearside front corner of boot.."

Must say I'm pleased I dont have this road rash - mine is a 2008 with the additional 'shark in' plastic film, but I think the thing that must be saving me are the front mudflaps. Dont really like them, but rather them than road rash.
