DSLiverpool, to give another side to the service provided by Infiniti, I have had a complete gearbox replaced by Infiniti following a weeks work of testing and sending data to Japan by ICR. The cost of this replacement (trade) was well over 9k. This was done FOC when my car was several months out of warranty as a gesture of goodwill (my car was purchased privately not through ICR) Similarity I have gad a new battery fitted, various software updates and diagnostics all outside of warranty and all provided as a gesture of goodwill.
After a shaky start with the brand I am very happy with the service I have experienced and certainly given my experiences dealing with BMW on warranty claims for cars actually in warranty I couldn't be more impressed with the way Infiniti have stood by their product.

It does seem strange. I sent a link of the official Infiniti used car scheme that someone posted up on here to the DP at Reading following a chat I had with him a few weeks ago regarding the lack of progress on warranty, they had the site taken down quickly and I have heard nothing since so have renewed again with Readings third party warranty provider although they were unable to deal with me so I dealt direct.
As an aside, DSLiverpool, I would be interested to here your first impressions of your Leaf, ours arrives next Friday.

Still didn't receive the message DS. Sorry to hear about the hassle with the V5, a sad end to the ownership experience.. Did it go to WBAC?
I think an email to Infiniti UK highlighting this thread might help them sharpen the customer service focus...
As you have said, it's a good car but let down by the lack of customer service from the dealer network, which in reality is mainly due to the fact that Infiniti UK don't seem to take the UK market very seriously.
