If you look at the video footage of it on the dyno the air filter gets well & truly sucked up into the inlet so yes it'd make a huge difference without one. Like loads of bhp. However running one even on track without is asking for big trouble sooner or later, you only need a bit of tyre pick up rubber to be sucked in & its game over turbo followed by lunching your engine.Edited by _dobbo_ on Friday 19th December 09:16

Just look at the dyno graphs - An all top end lag monster, hence the downsize of turbo I'm guessingChris.
