Ahem, yes; it was bloomin warm!

My angle - so many sexy cars, some great driving, a few fun passenger rides, 246 photographs, a drive in a Ford GT, really good crowd of people (as always), heard my car from outside for the first time, mmmm very warm can of Red Bull kept me going, 160mph fastest the NSX has been, nice cold pint and a few games of pool on the way home. PERFECT!!!

All of Iains upgrades will be in vain as the Chim may not be in attendance at the Next Vmax,

A Cerbera on the other hand may be ;p

Might have to get hold of the single turbo conversion sooner rather than later in that case

If I'm lucky enough to ge to play again it'll be another 60-100bhp more for IX and a further 70-100 for X.

I

PS. Cerb is my all-time favourite Tiv so passenger ride will be a hooje favour

Thoroughly enjoyed the day - The Brunters Taxi did a sterling job even though it was extremely hot and tyres were definitely overheating resulting in lots of understeer and a lack of willingness to step out at crazy angles.

I think the heat also contributed to the death of my nearside front tyre which got ripped to shreads within 3 or 4 laps.

To be honest it was lucky it was spotted otherwise it could have been nasty.

I was a little frustrated with the lack of lift off oversteer this time, 4 wheel drifting was easily achieved, although getting the rear hanging out was proving tough. Maybe it's the RE050s that were the cause after using the SO3s for the 2 VMAXs.

Whatever the reason I think I need more practice.

I had some good races off the line. There was the M3 CSL which I think was being driven a little sympathetically as I beat it to the first corner which really shouldn't happen.

A passenger ride in Davey's Exige was frankly stupendous. The grip available was easily equal to that of the scoob complete with the swarm of angry wasps behind your left ear as it comes on cam. The change is sudden and dramatic!

Later in the day I managed to get a race against the Exige and got the jump on him at the off. It was pretty level stuff after that until the first corner where I braked a little early (ok, for me anyway) and Davey was up behind me. Round the corner we held the same speeds but above about 120 on the straight the scoob pulled away. Later on we went again and this time it was even more even - hugely impressed with the Exige.

Gazboy had a valiant attempt but the slughbox meant he was never in it. Once underway the gap remained the same up to the 1st corner, but after that it was all over. I was impressed with the outright speed once he was underway though. I'd appreciate a ride next time...

I didn't get to go up against a Tiv which was a shame, and a lot of my runs were against no-one as there were a number of people nursing their cars through the heat or had given up (I was missing for 2 hours getting a new front tyre!).

A passenger ride in Hughesie's Tiv was fun, especially the spin - Come on Hughesie, oversteer!!!! Great commitment and fun!

All in all a great day. Managed to pop a few rising sun rice rocket cherries which is always a pleasure - watching feet shuffle as you blast past the braking signs

Thanks to everyone - we'll see about September!

No probs!

I'll never get off the line like you can, but next time I'll use full manual mode and try and get out of the BB quicker (it's bogs down a bit in 3rd, then changes into 2nd). It was very quick from 80-140mph.

Hi fellas was a bit gutted i couldnt bring the STI (no rubber) but thanks to my passenger for the loan of the lotus we had a good day out (Esprit GT3 four banger turbo standard) still next time Smiffy we can have a little play and i will let you show me how to drive, maybe a drive swap to compare cars would be good, still hit 152 in the plastic pig 10mph faster than the cars owner and 1mph faster than my own personel best at brunters to say Tony is a bit gutted is an understatement but the deal was i would pay to repair it if i detonated the lump so i guess its a question of who cares for their car more me or him so you probably get the picture!
Paul
see you next time guys.
Nice to meet you as well iant Mr RX7 and yes i have spoken to my mate and he is intending to rebuild his, infact he is off to look at a UK shell this weekend.
