I agree that would be a good idea but it's a hot hatch - what can be more chav than that?

Whats so scary about 4500 mile service intervals on the Evo? Anything that kicks out more than 100bhp per litre needs as oil change every 3k miles or so. 4500 miles seems a bit long, but i guess they must have pretty good tolerances and see the turbo as a semi disposable item.

Am I the only one here who thinks the Mitsubushi looks like a volvo S40?

yes And you even got a three year warranty on the 200bhp/L FQ400s.

The 4500 service interval is for the transmission fluid in the S-AYC (Active yaw control). The RS models don't have this and so their interval is 9000miles.

As mentioned previously, the intervals might be twice as often as my contemporaties' BMWs but they cost half as much.

The Evo in the shots is the same as the concept. It is the colour which changes its appearance so much.

I understand that. Its not the price its the inconvienience of it all. Getting a car serviced every 12k miles is agro enough

Hmm, IMO from those photos the Evo has lost alot of aggression that the concept photos had, while the STi is already looking a big improvement over the other new Impreza photos we've seen. In those pictures I think I prefer the STi.
