Apparently Mazda are aware that these cars have this problem but only in the UK apparently, but anyhow thay are bringing out a modification for it and so are replacing clutches, even out of warranty AFAI have been told, so if you have this problem, get to your local dealer and mention it to them. There is a long waiting list so apparently I have to wait till ablout Christmas to get mine done.



as an aside, has anyone had any problems with their gears especially in first and second, i.e feeling all notchy and not going in very well?

Its on a 52 plate, 14,500 on the clock and a 5speed box.

I think I'll book it in for a once over
