E61 530i - What should I be looking for? (Advice)

When I spoke over the phone on Friday they were convinced there's no evidence anything going the other way, into the coolant. I'm not quite sure how they can be convinced given the time they had it and what they'd told me so far.
I'm less than convinced in the garage to be honest, or the spiel they've given me over the last few months. I aren't making any rash decisions just yet and I want evidence or proof of it. Not sure what my consumer rights are re the purchase of the vehicle too. Their diagnostics tool puts my fault codes down as being recorded at 100k miles. It was bought in August last year with 61000 miles? Perhaps an issue with their code reader, or if its completely unrelated.
Not looking forward to the any of the outcomes, however
