There were garage printouts of the services in the glove compartment. The names of the services were correct. I should have photographed them but, from what I can remember, one was an oil service + inspection and one was a brake fluid service + inspection.

You'd be surprised how many there are with low mileage. I've been watching them since summer 2022. Late 2022 I saw two in Snapper Rocks Blue with Ivory White leather, one with 18k miles, one with 22k miles. A few have come and gone in other colours with sub 20k miles during 2023. Start of this year two more in Snapper Rocks - one with 25k miles and one with just over 8k miles. I'd have pounced on the 8k mile one - it was just down the M1 in Sheffield - but I was under "no driving" orders after a hernia operation and the car sold in not much more than a week, before I was allowed to drive again. I guess the low mileage might have been a symptom of the covid lockdown so these cars might start racking up the miles now.

... but looking on the BMW AUC website the lowest mileage car I can see is 39k (which I wouldn't consider especially low!). There are only three on Autotrader with under 20k miles (of which the car at Horsforth is one) and even at 30k miles there's only nine (and one of those is a Cat S which personally I wouldn't consider). So it doesn't feel to me like there's a lot of low mileage F32 440i's to choose from...
There aren't many 440is full stop. Of the ones that are available at any given time I'd say a surprisingly large proportion have relatively low milege. They tend to come in fits and starts too. It's a bit quiet at the moment.

But if you've been looking for almost two years I'm guessing you're in no rush and are happy to wait for the right car to come along?
Started looking for information purposes in summer 2022 but in a position to buy since spring 2023.

Been reading about the oil filter issue on the B58 and pondering the importance of having up-to-date service history so the BMW warranty will pay out if this arises. This particular car has an orange car symbol showing in the top right of the iDrive screen, which indicates a service due. The photos were taken on 8 February 2023 so, if that hasn't been done on time, then I think I can safely put to bed any notion of buying it once and for all. I might have to go back and dig into the iDrive to see if any more has been done than is showing in the photos.

I actually really like the spec of this car. The only things missing for me are the surround view camera at the front which I'd like and a heated steering wheel which would be nice to have.

There's an AUC one in Snapper Rocks Blue, which is my first choice of colour, and it's got the front suround view cameras, but it's got almost 45k miles on it which means I have to be mindful of the warranty renewal cost when it hits 60k miles after a couple of years or so. Also, it's got the default black interior with brushed aluminium and black trim finisher which is a bit boring. If I were going to go for the black interior I'd prefer the seats with oyster highlights or the ones with blue M Sport stitching and, either way, the carbon aluminium dashboard trim with pearl trim finisher which contrasts nicely with the otherwise black door cards and just makes it look a bit more exciting inside.

Surround view is definitely number 1 for me, having grown weary of driving blindly out of parking spaces when someone has dumped their morbidly obsese wkpanzer next to me.

The photos were taken on 8 Feb 2023, with a service indicated as due by the iDrive, so another service might have been done in the year since. If it hasn't then it's now overdue which likely means no chance of adding a BMW warranty, which means run for the hills as far as I'm concerned.

I might go back and dig into the iDrive to see if another service has been done since the photo was taken. If it's all up to date then a BMW health check to see if the disks and pads need doing, and confirmation of eligibility for the warranty, and agreeing the right price could make it a buy.

Are you sure it’s overdue the big service? Shouldn’t it be due 2024 ?
There was a service on 24 Jan 2022 and another one 23 Jan 2023. One was an oil service and one was a brake fluid service, but I'm not sure which was which. On that basis, however, 24 Jan 2024 was probably the deadline for the next one.

ETA: On the photo of the iDrive that was taken on 8 Feb 2023 there's a little orange car and a "1" in the top right corner, so some kind of service was actually due then! I should have checked when I was there.

heated wheel can be retrofitted - try Bavarian Coding.
Might invalidate the BMW warranty though. Wouldn't run one of these cars without the warranty due to the oil filter issue.

Yes, strange one. Not appearing in search on Autotrader and gone from the EH website, but still visible via my original link and the ad bookmarked on the Autotrader app. Not losing sleep over this one as there were too many unknowns for my liking, but I was considering a really cheeky offer. It needs an MOT as well as tax, so it'll be interesting to see if they start showing up as done in the next few days.

ETA: Just checked and the MOT was 20 days overdue on the day I looked at it so it's a good job I didn't test drive it as I'd have been on the hook if we'd been pulled!

But you're right, I'd expect the advert linked in the OP to be dead if the car had been sold so all a bit confusing!
I notice it's got a fresh MOT on it today, so either it's been bought or they've paused the ad while they got the MOT done. It's still in my Saved adverts on the app, so maybe it's just been paused.

I imagine someone might have secured it last weekend and is planning on taking it this coming weekend, in which case it'll probably be taxed on Saturday. It'd make sense. Saw it last weekend, did a deal, garage took it for an MOT this week and by this coming weekend all the money and admin will be sorted. Slightly odd that the ad is still accessible via the original link though.

Taxed over the weekend, so someone's definitely got it now. Shame it's not a PHer - I'd be interested to know how they go on with it. I could have lived with the service history but it was the time it had sat waiting to sell - twice - and the possibility that the most recent service might have been too overdue for a BMW warranty to be applied that killed it for me.
