Sorry for not getting excited but 0-60s, and 1/4 mile times are just not that interesting. How does it feel? How exciting is it to hustle along a twisty B-road? Does it make you smile every time you get into it? Do you go for a drive at 5am just for the hell of it? For me, a 3-series just doesn't have that level of excitement, however fast it is.

The stopwatch never lies, but it rarely tells you anything interesting either.

Is there really any need to try so hard to prove you own a fast car?

Grow up and stop being such a cock.

Its people like you who dont believe. You have proof now.
No we believe the 335d is a quick car, I am a diesel fan and agree they are good. But there really is no need for a pissing contest about your 335d all the time.
I dont agree, people on here think its not fast. There subarus and evo's doing 14's udner 100mph. So the 335d is quick. Some people know that. Some people appreciate that it is. Some dotn WANT to believe some dont give a fk, the latter ones dont need to post.
Well we are posting to give you the hint to take your black smoke machine and display it in some chav forum where people might like it. But you don't seem to take it do you?

Yes i do enjoy driving it, and it does bring a smile to my face. Not as much as a f430 scuderia would though.

The people in the Subarus and evos probably didnt launch as hard as possible- if your Diesel was a manual you be in the 14s aswell not having a torque convertor to ease the launch.

Good 1/4 times, but it is far easier to get a good launch and consistent times with an auto compared to a manual transmission, lets be honest it's not too difficult to dial in some revs whilst holding down the brake pedal with the other foot and letting off the brake and off you go, is it?!

Auto suffer a higher transmission loss than manuals. If it were a manual it would run a quicker time.

The 335d is easy to launch but no good for launching, no LSD and short first and 2nd gears. Which is a hindrance.

ILL SAY IT AGAIN, ITS EASY TO LAUNCH, BUT NOT GOOD AT IT.....

Anyone can do a half decent launch in one, but the car AINT built for it and AINT a quick launcher.

Dont know whats happening to this forum lately. This guy seems to like his cars and posts a couple of half decent vids of his motor on a strip. Everyone then seems to rip him to shreds. Let the bloke enjoy his mapped diesel.

I have something around 260-280bhp - and if I utterly monster the launch (which is about 1 in 3 attempts) I can squeeze under 14 seconds... And I consider the Toyota fairly brisk.

I don't do it often, it always feels like something will break.
