much appreciated here! lovely looking car!
i'm guessing this was snapped up at Sytner HW's 'VIP event'?
Thanks for the comments guys, it was actually a "VIP event" at Cooper's in Essex.

My deal basically involved approx ~ £10000 of the list price and a "special" lower interest rate on the finance. I was able to put down half of the cost in deposit with what I'd saved up and my old M5 part exchange, the rest is on finance over the next 3 years. I am reasonably happy with the deal I got but theres no doubt it was just one very slick sales event. For a couple of hours on that Saturday morning they really did make me feel like I was the most important guy on the planet. My only regret is that after agreeing a price I was taken in by their after sales insurance products such as alloy wheel and tyre insurance etc.. In hindsight I wish I hadnt purchased most of these, as this clawed back most of the "special extra discount price" I was given.

Anyway I've had an awesome month, got the 1200 mile service out of the way in 1 week and am now desperately trying to hang on to my licence now that I can drive it unrestricted. Although I gather it still sounds quite nice from the outside theres no doubt the soundtrack inside is muted compared with the E60 V10 M5, you knew when you were thrashing that but this one is just so deceptively fast. There is noticible turbo lag on the comfort setting throttle mapping but if you change to the "sport plus" setting its just instant thrust. All the toys, refinement and comfort are just on a different level to the E60 M5, suppose its a sign that im getting older that this is what I want now rather than the raw power and driving experience you could get in a 1M, M3 or the E60 M5. will be back to earth with a bang this week as my first monthly payment is imminent

50% deposit on an M5 hardly sounds like an outrageous deal from somebody who really can't afford it, it seems like a perfectably acceptable game-plan to me. Absolutely beautiful car, you must be thoroughly chuffed.

Thought I would post a few pictures of my E46 325i M-sport Touring as a fond farewell . I am going to change to a 330ci m sport (may be clubsport) with a few less years and miles under its belt soon.

Picked up my new smoker yesterday... 123d Sport Plus. 100 miles down and really starting to get to grips with the engine!

More photos will follow at some point

Can I request some shots of the black lines please? Could do with some more shots of them on a black 1er.

This is the only other one I have to hand, but I'll take a few more tomorrow.
FYI the Sport Plus's are Carbon Black rather than Sapphire Black.

Thanks. No worries on CB, it's close enough wink
