Nice, But still shocked Xenon's are not factory on M-Sports.

They have been on the B8 S-Line A4's for years.
True, but a rock hard, jiggly, fidgety, boneshaker of a ride has also been standard on the B8 S-Line A4's for years! biggrin
My parents have a Black Edition with 19's and it seem's OK to me, better than a friends E91 330d M-Sport.

Audi just can't seem to make a car ride properly (R8 excepted) and the s line is just so stiff I've always found them shockingly unresolved riding. My M3 is more compliant and less jiggly on small ridges than my mates A5 s line.

S line is the box that should never be ticked, mind you, neither should M sport suspension either!

IMHO

Fair enough, I'm not that fussy with a bumpy ride - I'm used to thin tyres and older cars smile

I always thought our E90 330d m sport on 18inch run flats was a hard ride but our Audi TT-S on 19's isn't any better, it just seems to me if you want a nice smooth ride your better sticking to 16 inch rims...thinking about it I would sooner put up with a poor ride, you would think with the investment in tyres that they could sort it out in this day & age!

See what everyone thinks of my E36 Compact F2000 spec Stage Rally Car, this was its 2nd event last weekend and we finished 7th O/A and managed to set Joint 2nd Fastest time on stage 3 only to beaten by a WRC Subaru and equalled by a WRC Escort Cosworth.

Cheers Dave aka Daishag Rallying 07805835655
I have the same engine in an e30 but quite fancy a Compact next.

My new 535d M Sport. Only collected on Friday but initial impressions are that this is an awesome car. I had an E60 530d before and this is a huge step up.

I absolutely love that.

My CC allowance doesn't quite extend that far though, so looks like I'll be in something like a 125d M Sport - same colour though!

Looks tidy but the DVLA special ruins it somewhat. Shame.

Nice 130i, is that the BMW Performance exhaust? How does it sound?
Might want to consider the stubby antenna, BMW Sports antenna. I've bought one to fit my Z4, works perfectly and is just 83 mm long :-)
Cheers, yeah its the BMWP exhaust, sounds deep and woofly, subtle pops on overrun and downshift under load.

Ive fitted the performance intake as well but held off the bee sting ariel as was told radio reception can suffer. I drive through Wales a lot so need all the reception I can get!

This thread has far too many cars that look they spend more time posing for photos than being driven, so here is a festive pic of my well loved, and well used 330i...

Excellent!

Did you have to edit the plate out or was it just that filthy? laugh

I edited the plate out still, you can just about read it with the dirt. I've washed the car maybe 4 times since owning it.

When I say I've washed it 4 times, I did once, some lovely eastern european chaps at work did it the other times. hehe
When you wash these things you only end up finding parking battle scars and stuff to fix.

I couldn't let my 02 get that dirty. It'd keep me up at night imagining I could hear it rusting! silly

My 1997 BMW 840Ci Sport Individual

And the yummy "Individual" interior:

Orient Blue Metallic is really the colour to have for these. I was very, very pleased to find this example after 3 months scouring the land trying to find a good 'un.

And... My previous much-loved E34 525iSE, which has just gone to its new and enthusiastic owner. I'm sure he'll be pleased with it. It was in exceptional nick for its age:

Note typical BMW parking. Although that road now ends in Luton Airport's runway about 50 yards ahead of the car, so the double yellows don't really mean a lot anymore.

And the reason why I loved the 525 so much:
