Has anyone got UK prices for the new 1 series coupes? I've seen £29750 for the 135M Sport but nothing for any of the diesel models?

Germany price for a 120d Coupe will be €28,750. A 123d 5dr is €4k more than a 120d 5dr, so I guess the 123d coupe will be around €32,750.

Here you are;

120d ES - £21,585
120d SE - £23,025
120d MSport - £24,705

123d SE - £24,855
123d MSport - £26,290

135i MSport - £29,745

biggrin

The interest we have had in this car has really suprised us and I think it could be a real hit.
The 135i in 'real world' driving is a very close match to the M3 only being about 0.6 seconds slower 0-62 and the 123d gives you over 200 bhp, yet will return 55 mpg as a combined figure!! Plus it dosen't really have any direct competion so is unique to this market place.

I seen one on the road on Sun and have to admit I liked what I seen.

The 123td sounds like a good allrounder to me with just enough go and if its making 55mpg well every ones happy

Thanks Donut.

Well i fancied the 123d in M Sport spec so thats £26k, add £1k for lether and another £500 for the 18 inchers and I'm looking at forking out £27.5k, its a good job i want black. kinda more expensive than i was looking to pay, i hope BMW are going to offering some nice discounts but i kinda get the impression that there is going to be little on offer till next summmer.

There are lots of nice cars for sale at £27.5k

Paul.

Yeah, that's way too expensive when you can get big discounts on a 1 series hatchback or 3 series. You can get a 120d M-sport 3dr hatch for under £20K if you shop around.

TBH 6 months will do, once BMW have used a few as staff cars for 6 months they'll start creeping onto forecourts.

I fancy a 123d Coupe (once I've seen one in the flesh) but i'll be waiting until mid next year when they start to appear on forecourts.

I bought my current 120d m sport 6 months old and saved a fortune, paid under 18k for it with 6k on the clock from a BMW dealer...

I think BMW 1 series do make financial sense, I bought a 120d sport BMW demonstrator just under 2 yrs ago paid £17.5K (£250 per month BMW finance) with 6K on clock, I have put over 34,000 miles on it and I was hoping to get £13.5k when I trade it in for 135i coupe, or you can just hand it back. (2K a yr drop is nothing) often get 35 - 50 mpg's and they don't need servicing much. I would love a M3 CSL but could afford a massive repair bill if any thing goes wrong. I think my dad lost £14K on a highly spec boxter S in the first year. But I only get 40p a mile fuel at work so the 123d would be a better earner, and save my licence.

I see you can "build" your 1 series coupe now on the BMW web site, with full prices etc

Ouch £30,225 for a decent spec 123d.

£34,110 for a 135i, not even with Sat Nav. You don't even get lumbar support as standard.

Hmm.... No thanks BMW, think i'll be keeping my Z4 for now.....

Very disappointing!!

Always going to be wasn't it? Spec up a mini and you'll soon bust 20k!

Yeah I guess, it's more that a lot of the options should be standard. THe small choice of colours is also disappointing.

I'll be waiting until next year to see what discounts are available, even 10% makes it an expensive car. Hopefully BMW will fully load their demo cars and there will be a few available.

We'll have to wait until they've flogged a few to footballers wives before they start selling them at more realistic prices later next year. With the usual discounts, I think the hatches are excellent value at the moment. I guess the coupe will become a sensible option one day too.
