Hi all, I'm in a very similar position to The Mad Jock. 128 ti in Misano blue with the tech pack due to go back to Arnold Clark next month. I've had it 3 years and there are plenty of things to like about it. Quick enough, decent econony, refinement is good enough and the interior is quality with no signs of wear or rattles. The standard stereo is a bit weak and I wish I'd gone for the HK upgrade but otherwise there isn't much I'd change. Worth noting that the road tax is reasonable too as these slipped well under the £40K threshold. So, what to do next? I've kept an eye on lease deals but nothing has come remotely close to the deal I've had on this. I'm hoping AC offer me a fair deal to buy it outright. Otherwise I will probably end up buying another 1 series or 3 series as I like my BMWs.

Hi.
Looking for a bit of info from 128 owners.
Can you advise the service intervals please.

Is the scheduled 1st service at 2 years. 2nd service at 4?
Also are the brake fluid changes at random points along the way?( the 2 series I have seems to want this at 3 and now 5 years... )

I'm getting a new 128 this week and will do 5k a year Plan to keep it for 5 years and just thinking if it's worth taking out the 1k service pack....

Thanks.

Most brake fluid replacement these days is time based, pads are often usage based. I'm sure brake fluid is every two years in BMW's.
