Unsure which BMW to get??
Discussion
Hi
Long time lurker first time poster, looking for some advice on which BMW if a BMW at all to get as my second car.
I'm 22 got 4 year no claims and looking to spend 10,000 with a 2,000 contingent probably going to use a limited mileage insurance as I will use my pick up in the week. My mates all have BMWs (E46 M3s an M5 and a 740D) hence why I'm thinking of going down the same route.
Looking at so far E90's 325D,330D,335D the coupe 135I(edit possibly finance) if I can find one or the older model 3 series.
Thanks for looking
p.s. not afraid of a project!

The cheapest 135i on the BMW AUC site is currently £16,440.
They're keeping their value and they're relatively uncommon, so prices aren't falling.
Keep checking tho as I snapped up an AUC 135i for £15k a year ago.
Fantastic car btw - definitely recommend it.
You should have no worries finding 325d or 330d for 12k though, if you definitely want (bleurgh) diesel.

I would like the diesel simply because there doesn't seem to be any difference between the two on paper except for the better mpg.
However I am noticing that a good lowish mileage 330I seems to be 1-2 grand cheaper than a 330D of similar spec which I suppose would offset the difference in fuel price for a number of years. I would be interested to hear from anyone that has or had a 330I and would they recommend it.
