I've been reading that to get the TV to work while in motion that instead of shelling out £70-80 on a plug in module, its possible to plug into the car and turn the TV deactivation sensor off for motion. Are there any local techs that would be able to do this for a small fee please?

Just to point out this is not for me to actually watch TV while driving, but I'll be using my 330 cab on a european driving trip as a camera car. I have installed an AV input to the cars TV monitor system which will accept a lead from my video camera of a live image. My idea then is for one of safety, and rather than my co-driver lean through to the back to try to make sure we're filming one of the cars on the trip correctly, he can look at the monitor and then give directions to myself or the other car where to be positioned to capture the best footage.

If I can get this to work then it will be a fantastic and safe feature to use for events where this sort of filming takes place!

I managed to enable this following some instructions on t'internet 2 years ago which did not require any cables, nothing, just a Konami type of entry combo's. Got to be worth a Google, no?

Not sure if they can help but Newhall are a BMW operation that have treated me well in Sheffield (close to Meadowhall).

Had seen someone put that but then lots of others had replied to the thread saying it didn't work. Not tried it though so I guess it Cant harm anything? If not then will try the other 2 places suggested. Cheers guys.
