Hi all

Have been looking at plug and play upgrades for me e90 and have seen this kit from gladen.

Is anyone running this to comment on whether they just went for the gladen speaker upgrade or added the misconi amp as well?

Never hear of this before.
How much is it as the official BMW upgrade is only £350

This shows you how it all fits. Doesn't look very plug and play to me.

E90 post recommends this setup over the bmw alpine upgrade.

Kit 1 is about £300 and includes x2 subs, mids and tweeters with crossovers

Kit 2 is £500 and is the same as above but includes amp by misconi to drive the subs

Apparently it sounds amazing

Ii can't imagine its worth upgrading the subs unless you're going to drive them with an amp, the pro headunit isn't meaty enough to drive subs properly, let alone the business HU.

Plug and play has nothing to do with trim removal, it just means you don't have to start cutting into wiring looms.....

The Gladen/Mosconi kit is supposed to be very good. I've used Ground Zero speakers and subs from Car Audio Direct - same price, around £300, all fit in the factory locations.

FWIW even upgrading the subs to 8" drivers makes a noticeable difference. Much more punch, instantly.

It's bloomin' brilliant with an amp and processor though!

Would you happen to remember the model number or specs of the Ground Zero kit you used?.
