Hi folks, anyone know the answer to the above? I note that DMS advert has had the 335i 'under development' for some time now, but still no joy. Anyone know anywhere reputable and the likely £cost?
thanks

We map these to approx 365 - 370bhp. This is £595.00 all in, including dyno runs. thanks
If an intercooler is added, then 385 - 390bhp is possible

Yea I don't think the gearboxes are a problem to be honest, your talking silly money on engine mods before that starts to become an issue (and at that point you might as well buy an M3).
personally dont like the 3 series manual gearboxes, too notchy for me, hence mine is an auto
your car will out accelerate an M3 mate.personally dont like the 3 series manual gearboxes, too notchy for me, hence mine is an auto

SSTT is a simple, effective and very cheap option.
Well it was cheap when I got mine!! $599 new and I got mine 2 months old from the 1Addicts website for $350 inc delivery. (Worked out at about £250 at the time).
You get modest increases, 40-50 bhp and 40Ib/ft. It makes a huge difference!
It's also pretty easy to install and remove if you need to prior to service etc.
Think I would prefer a remap for the additional 20-30bhp, but the SSTT is so much more convenient e.g. what happens if the dealer installs an ECU flash?
Due to the more modest gains I also don't feel like I am unduly stressing the car.
SuperChips also sell the SSTT installed for £599.
Heard lots of good feedback for Evolve and P-Torque too.

Forgot that one! Good point. As moff125 said, they are cheap and offer reliable power that, like the expensive Proceede and simple JB3, can be installed/uninstalled in around 10-20 minutes yourself and is 'hopefully' completely invisible to BMW (although there is still a question over this after the latest program update, with BMW apparently putting in software to see if you have EVER had a piggyback, but no real feedback on this yet).Well it was cheap when I got mine!! $599 new and I got mine 2 months old from the 1Addicts website for $350 inc delivery. Either way, your dealer finds out your royally rogered. You take the risk, unfortunately its an expensive item to take a risk with but hey, you only live once and we're only a few years from needing a helping hand to piss.
