Hi - hopefully someone can help me. I have a 2007 3 series coupe with the 19" m-sport wheels - one of the rears has picked up a puncture near the sidewall. The tyre is a 255/30/19 Bridgestone Potenza Runflat Speed Rating Y.
I have taken to my local tyre shop (dealt with them for years) they have said they cannot get one, they have tried to get one from a number of retailers - quoted me £240 + VAT.
I have tried numerous local companies and national, never got as far as prices just got told they couldn't get a tyre.
Finally I gave my local BMW dealership a ring who quoted £355 (inc VAT) for a tyre then said they couldn't actually get one, phoned back and said they could get one from germany in 3 days or something.
Various tyre places have offered me a Pirelli tyre but didn't want to mix tyres up.

Anyone had any experience replacing these tyres or know anywhere that has them in stock???
Any help greatfully recieved.

Found this one Best Buy Tyres

Not sure if they are run flats though.

This is a "sister site"

Try http://www.event-tyres.co.uk/

They've always been very efficient and provide fantastic service on your doorstep, but the runflats do seem dear! smile

Dump the run flats and get normal tyres and a can of gooo for the boot. tyres will be cheaper, car will handle and ride way better..

I'm about to replace the tyres on my 335d sport running on 19's. I'm going to replace the runflats for normal tyres and a can of sealant as per above.

This is what I've found so far - price is last column (£) delivered, fitted and inc VAT. Please let me know if you find a premium tyre any cheaper. Was going to look at etyres too.

Thanks for the replies - turns out "best buy tyres" were able to get 1 (original Bridgestone Runflat), they were helpful and said that they had only been able to source one from all their suppliers. Paid £277 and my local shop will fit for £15 - so not too bad. Only bad point is that they will only deliver to your home address!!

thanks for your help again, andy.
