New member - introducing myself
Discussion
Hello all,
I've been an avid reader of this site for a while now and I thought that I would get into this posting lark, so allow me to introduce myself.
I recently acquired a BMW 130i (see my profile for details) and I'm thoroughly enjoying it so far.
I look forward to engaging in dicussion/banter with you all soon!
Actually whilst I'm here I have a quick question - for those of you with 3.0 petrol engined BMWs, is it advisable or worthwhile using super unleaded or will regular fuel suffice? When I bought the car the salesman could only tell me that it would "run on either".
Cheers...

Thanks for the welcomes guys - some nice motors you have there.
Anyone got any thoughts on the fuel query?
It'll go like stink on either basically. I used Optimax in the last tankfull and the economy seemed about 10% better but I've not noticed much difference in performance to be honest. Anyone got any thoughts on the fuel query?
There was a good article in evo a while back and there's a lot of different factors involved - best advice was to use a busy petrol station as the fuel can 'go off' if it lies around for a while ...
