This is only my 2nd post so go easy on me ...!

I have a E90 320D what is the best replacement for the dreeaded Bridgestones ...I am looking for 225 45 R17's..

I was thinking of Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's which I have had in the past or alternatively Pirelli P6000 are going for £91.89 from BlackCircle.....

The car is driven mainly by my Wife & she is very easy on tyres ...due to the stop start nature of her commute ...

Any advice would be welcome..

Any tyre would be better than RFT but you wouldn't go wrong with Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric.

Changed to these on my Z4 and would heartily agree. Continental Sportcontact2s worked well as replacements on my old 120 with 17s though.

Avoid the P6000. You may as well be on remoulds.

F1's are more performace orientated, which im sure you will appreciate.

Swapped the Bridgestones on the Z4 to Michelin PS2s, highly recommended if a little more expensive than the F1s.

Michelin PS2's, tried the Goodyear assymetricals on a BMW last night and thought they were pants!!

Great on Audis and VW's but really didn't like them on the BMW.

If not get the Falken FK452's, had two sets of them on my 120d and 320d and they are great, very similar to the GDS3 and cost me £340 fitted for 18's.

What didnt you like about them? Myself and a few friends run them on our BMW's and have nothing but good words to say about them?
