BMW colour codes interior/exterior.

Hello all. I want to replace my floor mats in the E38 but I am struggling to find out whether they have a specific colour code or not. It would also be interesting to know what the code (or name) is for the exterior paint and interior leather as well. I'd call in navy blue exterior and cream leather/plastics with navy blue linings and mats. Anyone got any words of wisdom???

EDIT - And how do you determine 'shadowline' for the accessories????

I don't think the floor mats will have a specific colour code, they will just be ordered as per the basic colour of the carpets i.e black, blue, grey etc.

I think Orient blue and Biarritz blue were the dark blue colours on the E38 7 series. Look under the bonnet near the offside suspension strut, there should be a sticker which gives the build date and the exterior colour. Afraid I can't help you on the interior shade.

Shadowline is a dark finish rather than chrome, usually on exterior trim.

Thanks, I'll look into it. I think my vehicle isn't shadow-line but I want to make sure before I order a part (I need a new headlight washer as ones busted)
