1st Oil Service 430d - How Much??

Hi everyone,

My 430D is due its first service (oil) in 1200 miles, do people have a rough idea of how much it will be at a main dealer? Have also been reading that a few people have took their own oil to save paying the mark up on BMW's hoping my local dealer will be okay with this. My old 650i had a £799 service from BMW last time so hope its not going to anywhere even close to that!

It doesnt matter how much you earn. Getting ripped off is universal. I'd rather have a couple hundred quid than BMW. I work as a professional buyer in IT/technology, so yes every pound does count. Must be my nature...

Completely agree with silent ninja why would you not try and save money? Regardless of what car you drive its more in your pocket instead of the dealers? Makes common sense to me.

Cars booked in for its first service with my local bm dealer on the 17th as it was the first date with a hire car available! I wonder what I'll get....
