Removing Rear Disks E46

Hi,
The time has come for me to replace the rear disks on the E46 325, I changed the front's earlier this year.
The b
ds won't come off! I've made sure the handbrake is completely released by undoing it through the wheel nut hole but they stil seem to be stuck on.
Has anyone got any tips on the best way to get these off?
