Just a quick question...

How much is a brand new, unused Hydratrak diff worth?

Thanks

According to the factory, no Chim was made with a Hydratrac diff. May affect the value somewhat...

It was a factory option.

I quote the god that is Steve Heath:

'Both BTR differenetials were used on the Griffith 500 model, with the Hydratrak version being an optional extra. Since then, the Chimaera has had a cone type differential made by BTR and the option of a Hydratrak differential, similar to that fitted to the Cerbera.'

Yes it was listed, however when I phoned the factory to check mine (cos both the cone type and hydratrac were made by BTR in later years) they told me they never actually made a Chim with Hydratrac.

Factory always very helpful with this type of query, btw.

361 UKP+vat over normal,if that helps,
If you want a reel diff we have a Chimaera here with a 1=3.25 ratio spool diff.

So, £275 would seem a reasonable price.

Thanks
