Team Lucking Fast rides again at Oulton 13th Sept
Discussion
After a mixed two races for me, loved Anglesey, but crashed and burned at Donington, it's time to brush off the cobwebs and reinstate Lucking Fast.
It's a change of riders though.
Team Lucking Fast would like to thank LincsBlokey for his efforts this season with us. However, the team has decided to move in a different direction and LB has left the team with immediate effect. We'd like to place on record our thanks to LB for his time with the team, but as he was dog st slow and holding the team back, as well as being obsessed with Hondas despite our Yamaha / BMW factory support, then we feel the time has come to part ways. There's also the small matter of promised sponsorship not appearing amd some other stuff that makes us feel justified in sending out this completely unprofessional and fabricated press release.
On a serious note we do have a new rider in Fleegle and I'm sure he'll be along soon to big himself up and tell us how he's expecting to build slowly then set new lap records each lap for the full 3 hour endurance race.
So anyone based in the North West there's no excuse, get yourself down to watch and support us. Unless you're LincsBlokey, in which case don't, you need to stay at Cadwell

You may just have a point Neil. I had great fun whilst racing with only one weekend in over 3 seasons were it really clicked. Getting a 3rd in a field I had watched go off in the distance previously, was like winning the world championship to me.
Unfortunately the cost (even in a budget series) coupled with the politics and backbiting took their toll. On the way home one Sunday evening I realised the fun had gone. As quick as that!
Having said that Neil, while you enjoy your time on a track day, nothing will ever beat the buzz of lining up on the grid and going into that first corner
Have to agree so far in my fledgling attempt at racing. The first corner is something else, I've never been in such a chaotic place, let alone on a bike. Strangely it was total fun and I was grinning like mad, despite being bumped and barged all over the place. It is bloody expensive though and I'm not sure I'll do more than one year at most.

I'll definitely be there too, will be on hand with gaffer tape and cable ties
Hopefully we won't need them this time, I'm praying for a dry race. Cunny DK said:
Just like always then. Im guessing young Mr Cox isnt at Oulton this weekend. Just seen on Facebook he's off on holiday I think.
No TTC at Oulton this time, although he's probably celebrating his perfect hat trick at Thruxton. George29 said:
I'm there too with PBM hospitality.
Got to be Jenko for the win in stock 1000s!
I can't look beyond Joe Burns given the way he's worked on his bike in the past month. He also put in a few 1:37s on last weeks TD, which is unheard of with the traffic. Normally you can knock another 2 seconds off to get an accurate race pace. He was flying at Thruxton too. Jenkinson has local track knowledge but still a very new bike. Got to be Jenko for the win in stock 1000s!

ill bet you both a pint that O Halloran, Buchan do one at the front.......
I wouldn't be surprised if Buchan does. Notice how the traction on his bike sounds like no other stock ZX10 out there though... All the entry forms arrived today.
