Well I'm not a huge fan of London cyclists but I have to say most impartial observers of that video would blame the motorcyclist for the accident.

The cyclist was obviously using his phone but it looked like he was in the cycle lane, didn't deviate from his path and the motorcyclist tried to get through a space that just wasn't big enough.
But if the cyclist had had both hands on the bars would he still have fallen off? Both at fault IMO.
And if a car took you out when you had your hand off one of the bars for a moment, you would reckon it was all your own fault that you fell off more quickly?

Ducati rider was lucky to get away with that. He redirected the PC's attention into concentrating on the cyclist.

I think that Alexander Mitchell is finding that not everyone shares his point of view today, he's deleted his Ducati Dragons twitter account, his YouTube Channel, and seems to be trying to hide.

Alex Mitchell is a penis. Imagine driving along and seeing a pedestrian on a mobile phone crossing the road. Do you deliberately drive into them to "teach them a lesson"? The prejudice shown by the WPC is depressing, Alex Mitchell is a micro-cocked ball bag.

This man is a menace. Deliberately targeting and hitting a vulnerable road user. I don't care about points, fines, punishment. He shouldn't be allowed on the road and would hope the only thing he got was a 5 or 10 year ban.

He's scurrying around the internet deleting the videos, deleting his Twitter account. Check this out, he boasted online about hurting someone:

I adjusted my right handle bar mirror with the left elbow of a cyclist. Lol

I think he was correct, as he suggested in the video, that the motorcyclist hit him deliberately. Anyway, perhaps we could have a tag for these banal videos of fkwittery? I feel just as sad after being drawn in to assessing them.
Just watched it again. I hadn't noticed that he blipped the throttle before impact, presumably just to make it hurt more.

What a stty thing to do.

He filmed himself deliberately hurting another human being (totally blameless in this situation) then posted the clip on YouTube for people to "enjoy".

Nice fellow, eh?

I love how the internet can turn people into crazy witch hunters. The original video wasn't even that bad. It wasn't deliberate, there was barely any harm done and he used the fact that he was on his phone in the middle of the road against the guy. Like anyone would. He hardly bragged about knocking him off he just made a comment on a forum.

I would disagree in so much as I think the guy deserves a slap... But at the end of the day the cyclist was fine, and if the victim isn't interested in pursuing trial by internet, then I think you both are right.
