I think they both look nice, the GSX-R with the Arrow cans looks good, it suits it. I love the look of the R1 though, I couldn't decide without a test ride so neither should you
Btw - saw another post of yours somewhere, so you are quitting to become a lady of leisure?

All Yamahas are imports to the UK, they all come out of the same factory. so aslong as you have a full warranty i can't see any difference
It's not a manufacturer warrenty so you're relying on the discretion of the dealer, some parts are US spec specific so getting them means shipping them from the States and MOTing it might (not saying it will) be a pain due to some non-EU homologated parts (lights/exhaust/horn etc.).California spec bikes also have a lower power output usually.
