Mine seem fine in that regards but I did have to go in with a pair of nail clippers and trim some plastic thread when I first got them! That being said, the pads are a touch low for my knees so I find myself pulling them up quite a lot. I'll have to look into pushing them further up permanently.

Revisiting the XL Moto gear that someone kindly put a link up a while back - did anyone else buy the jeans and have found a cure or has noticed for/the velcro knee armour holder rubbing on your legs. I changed the knee armour over to ones in my other jeans but soon enough it's doing it again.
Decent enough jeans and maybe a simple cure but annoying more so when walking as riding my position doesn't change much.
I cut a microfibre cloth in half and stitched it over the whole pad area, leaving the bottom unstitched so i can remove the armour. Neat job, took 30 minutes. Doesn't bunch up around your knees, and my crap needle work has held up well.Decent enough jeans and maybe a simple cure but annoying more so when walking as riding my position doesn't change much.
That being said, I did it when it was a lot colder, now its baking hot, knees get a bit warm when walking about.

I’m wearing mine now and have been all day at work, but not sure what you speak of?
It curls back abit exposing the bristles side if you don't carefully overlap them before fitting and then carefully slip onNath911t said:

I've found that knee pads just don't stay in position in any textiles / jeans so wear Forcefield limb tubes (there are various types, mine are "graph") Decent enough jeans and maybe a simple cure but annoying more so when walking as riding my position doesn't change much.
I really rate them - and after crashing I didn't feel a thing, yet went through the knee of my kevlar jeans so they seem to work well

Thanks for mentioning them.
I was wondering if one of those Moto Cross torso armour vests could be worn under a normal coat or jacket.

If your jacket is big enough you can -several of my off-road group, wear them on the road

I found your armoured leg tube online and then after I'd posted clicked on the link for the Forcefield product range and they do such torso armour. If your jacket is big enough you can -several of my off-road group, wear them on the road.
Maybe of use to Royal Enfield owners. RE are bringing UK distribution in-house, so the current distributor (MotoGB) are having a sale:

With the new ECE 26 helmet standards coming in this year there'll probably be a big sale everywhere on the old existing standard
I'm counting on it. My Shark is a 22:06, but hoping some of the 22:05 Arai and Shoei models might drop below £200.
